The PARALLEL series explores the relationship between the underwater world and the world above it, with a focus on the human element. Using water as a medium, I narrate a story and depict interactions between these two realms, and how they intersect through the presence of a person. I use properties of water such as refraction and reflection to create a sense of otherworldliness and challenge viewer's perception of reality. I capture fleeting moments of beauty and energy within the natural world and the human experience. My goal is to create thought-provoking photographs that question the viewer's understanding of reality and the human connection to nature.
