Mirror is inspired by natural phenomena that irrevocably alter our perception of reality. The series focuses on the critical angle between water and air. This optical effect, combined with a referential trick, creates the illusion of a membrane and a distorting mirror — setting a stage in which the subject interacts. The goal is to invite the viewer into situations that appear surreal but are in fact entirely real. The Mirror series has been exhibited in Montreal, Paris, Brussels, and Fort Lauderdale.
